Approved Uses

Levosulpiride is not approved by the FDA for use in the US.

Indicated for:

  • Psychosis, particularly negative and cognitive symptoms of Schizophrenia

  • Depression

  • Somatoform Disorders

  • Dyspepsia

  • Gastro-esophageal Reflux

  • Irritable Bowel Syndrome

–Levosulpiride is contraindicated in patients with:

  • Gastrointestinal bleeding

  • Intestinal obstruction

  • Pheochromocytoma

  • Epilepsy

  • Manic states

  • Hyperprolactinemia

  • Mammary dysplasia

Adverse Events
